Ribera del Duero CURRENT VINTAGE: 2006 VINTAGE 2006: BEST BUY, WINE & SPIRITS, 91 POINTS, March 2010 100 % Tempranillo Winemaking process: Fermentation of the selected grape in stainless steel container at a regulated temperature of 28º C during a 14 days maceration process. ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: COLOUR: Ruby colour with intense iodine borders. An opaque, well covered and absolutely clean wine. BOUQUET: Aromas of fruit, woodland and flowers, turn into much stronger aromas of vanilla and almond and hazelnut, due to the slight oxygenation of the glass. The aromas are highly complex and personal. IN MOUTH: The tannins own a kind and pleasant taste on its passage through the mouth, constituting a perfect harmony between wood and wine, hardly comparable. All smell found on the olfactory analysis can be noticed in the mouth, as well as tastes of vanilla, coconut, cinnamon, nuts, becoming velvety in the end and extending in the aftertaste.
