Real Sitio de Ventosilla is located north of Spain, in the west region of Ribera del Duero. It’s about 7,413 acres and it shares 4.3 miles with Duero River.
The history of this site dates from 1503 when Queen Isabel the Catholic bought the Estate renaming it “Real Sitio de Ventosilla” (Royal Site of Ventosilla), keeping under Castilla’s crown for the next 20 years.
The palace, preserved to date, was built in XVI century by the Duke of Lerma and Prime Minister of King Felipe III.
Early XX century, the Velasco family bought the Estate becoming it a private farm. In 1986 the family began the vineyard and in 1996 the fist bottle was released to the market.
The winery is fully equipped to produce and bottle 100% Estate crop, ensuring high quality and unique style. The grape varieties are:

Tempranillo
Cavernert Sauvignon
Merlot
