Handcrafted from small lots of Pinot Noir grown in vineyards throughout Sonoma County.
This wine shows cherry and strawberry flavors typical of the appellation.
Harvest Date: Grapes harvested in September 2008 From vineyards in cool locations of
Sonoma County, California, including Russian River Valley and Chalk Hill
Average Brix at Harvest: 24.18
Fermentation: Open Top Fermenters
Wine at Bottling: Alcohol 13.8%, pH 3.75, TA 5.4 grams per liter / Residual Sugar = 0.1%
Cooperage: Aged in French oak barrels for 10 months.
Bottled in July 2009

Pinot Noir is the classic red grape varietal grown in the Burgundy region of France.
In ideal locations, it produces the richest, most velvet-smooth wines in the world.
Sonoma County is one of those locations, with cool, foggy nights and warm sun-filled days.
This wine was produced from vineyards in the best Sonoma County locations,
and showcases the elegance and spicy fruit by which Pinot Noir is known. |
